Above is a pic I shot on my block that uses a technique called High Dynamic Range photography.
I took three pics of the same shot three times using a tripod and each exposure was separated by two stops. Using Aperture 2.1 and a plugin called Photomatix I was able to come up with some nice looking photo-illustrations.

Cay and I celebrated 20 years together this past weekend and we had a great turnout. People brought gifts and that was something we really didn't expect. It was a blast. Nothing broken which was a first and the only hitch was Rothenberg's dragging doggy doo through our house.
