My high school friend Steve Rigby (AKA Huey) visited with us this weekend and we got in a surf session out in the Santa Monica Bay. Mixed swell that meant crappy waves but just a couple cool drop-ins.
He and his wife Danielle are kickin' it live in Southern Cal and their next stop is the OC.
August 2007 Archives
I'm so proud of my sugar momma. Best thing is that I get to borrow the bundle of technological goodness from time to time.
I've been avoiding political entries for some time now but I came across this video on the Internets and I just can't resist sharing it here:
Let's get busy gettin' busy. More to come.
What a classic work of art.

Worked in a Montrose, California dry cleaners last night on Honolulu Avenue. What a quaint little town.
Geomapped.
This coming weekend of August 10 - 13 will be an opportunity to catch an above average meteor shower of the Perseids.
Cay and I are planning on taking the time to view on Sunday night into Monday morning up in Topanga off Henry Ridge Road thanks to our good friend Aaron. We'll be camping under the night sky while flashes of space rock streak across the sky. Should be a very clear view for most of the country. No cloud cover, please.
Saw this video many years ago on MTV2 and it ended up being the song that Cay walked down the aisle to on our wedding day. Cay found it last night on YouTube and I still think it's one of the greatest songs ever recorded. Nina Simone is wonderful.
Had my second day of production work for the new TV season today. We got done early enough for me to make Mitsuwa Market before they closed.
Mitsuwa is a great Japanese market at Centinela and Venice Blvd. in the Mar Vista section of West Los Angeles. My carpool buddy lives near there and whenever I get the chance I stop in to one of the greatest treasures on our side of town.
I got a huge bottle of sake, some Asahi, ramen, curry chicken, mushrooms, onions, snow peas, and carrots for less than 30 bucks. I'll try to do a proper review some day when I get serious about expanding this site. <0-o>
Yesterday our crew for Two and a Half Men went out on location @ the Warner Brothers Ranch to short a three and a half page scene. With all the logistical considerations, I was on the clock for a full twelve hours.
Feels good to be earning a paycheck again instead of being on the dole and subject to Cay's taking care of me and the bills.
Above is a rare pic since we are the last sitcom shooting on film. :(
